Wood stove factory · About CREPUS

Crafting warmth for the hours after dusk.

We design and manufacture wood-burning fireplaces and biomass pellet stoves for partners who care about how a fire looks, feels and lasts.

CREPUS – wood stove factory

Our story

A Roman name. A modern factory.

In ancient Rome, the hearth was the heart of the home, protected by Vesta and the household Lares. CREPUS — from crepusculum, twilight — carries that idea into the present: a fire is not just heat, it is the moment a house becomes a home.

Our collections are developed in-house, from firebox geometry and air management to the last detail of the door handle, and produced in our own facility under one quality system.

Inside our wood stove factory, steel is laser cut and robotically welded, cast iron doors and frames are machined for tight seals, and every body receives a high-temperature coating rated up to 600 °C. Final assembly and a 100 % pre-shipment inspection happen in the same building, with a photo report for each order. Keeping every step under one roof is how we keep finish, fit and lead times consistent from one container to the next.

What we stand for

Three principles behind every stove.

01

Honest materials

Cast iron, heavy steel, vermiculite and ceramic glass — chosen for durability, never for cost alone.

02

Engineered combustion

Primary, secondary and airwash air paths tuned for a clean burn and a tall, lively flame.

03

Partnership first

Clear pricing, reliable lead times and responsive support — because your reputation travels with our product.

Manufacturing

One roof, one quality system.

Cutting, welding, casting finishing, high-temperature coating and final assembly happen under one roof, so every step can be controlled and traced.

  • Laser cutting and robotic welding for steel bodies
  • Machined cast iron doors and frames for tight seals
  • High-temperature powder coating up to 600 °C
  • 100% pre-shipment inspection with photo reports

Quality control

How our wood stove factory checks every unit

Inspection in our wood stove factory is not a sample check at the end of the line. Every stove is examined before packing: welds are checked for continuity and finish, door and glass gaskets for a tight, even seal, and doors for alignment and smooth closing. Inspectors look at the ceramic glass for chips and cracks and at the high-temperature coating for even coverage. Each unit is photographed, and the photo reports are sent to you before the container is loaded, so you see what you are buying before it ships.

Materials are chosen for how they behave in heat. Steel bodies are laser cut and robotically welded; cast iron doors and frames are machined so they close cleanly against their gaskets. Fireboxes are lined with refractory or vermiculite, the glass is ceramic, and the coating is rated up to 600 °C. Because cutting, welding, coating and assembly happen in one wood stove factory, a problem found at inspection can be traced back to its step and corrected.

Documentation completes the product. Test reports and declarations for relevant standards (e.g. EN 13240, EN 13229, EN 14785) are available on request for qualified models, which helps importers check market rules such as the EU Ecodesign regulation. Registered partners also get manuals and dimensional drawings from our downloads page, and brand owners can read how this supports their own paperwork on our OEM / ODM page.
